I made this item with reference to old clothes of the American Army that I love for 5 – 6 years.
“GAS PROTECTIVE COAT” is different from military which has also established as fashion such as M-51, M-65, MA-1, even if we are purchasing military of the US military for many years, rarely encounter, A few items.
Even those who are familiar with old clothes and military are not so well known, so it was just a hobby that I often wanted something different from a little bit. Since the number of times of wearing is very large in the past five to six years, many customers have requested from customers and business partners, we made it in response to requests.
The next image is clothes I own. Originally it was in a state like a dead stock, but it is dirty as now considerably.

Patterns of size and silhouette are faithfully made to used clothes. Originally it is a protective clothing so I make it big, but it is also a point I love to have thick sleeves or big size feeling. I feel that the expression that the form is bad is a little different, but I’d like you to enjoy a big sense of size. Because the sleeves are rubberized (this is also protective clothing), so you will catch on the elbow so you can adjust it. It is a mysterious detail that the hem portion of the back body is divided and the string is coming out from the back. It is also an interesting place of this military that it is full of details that you think will not be made with ordinary clothes.
It was inconvenient for used clothes to have no pockets, so the things we made this time are attaching pockets for convenience.
The biggest feature is that the buttons are made up of two pieces, making it double to prevent the entry of gas. This is also an unnecessary design for fashion, but design that does not make sense without meaning is also a feature of this clothes, so details are left behind in this.
And the patch part which I did not like in old clothes also improved. I love the military vintage patch. The used clothes I had had a normal patch so I made rough texture patches& the design in a good sense of vintage. The vintage patch is about collections that are unusual. I also made a slightly different design from vintage with emphasis on texture. The thread is rough and the feeling of the cutting of the fabric keeps the atmosphere of the time making it.
