New velor textile

2018AWのメインテキスタイルとして制作されたベロア。

ベロアは秋の素材としては馴染みのある素材ではあるが、以外にもVarde77ではプリントの総柄ベロアは初めてのリリースになる。

今回は収縮のあるベロアにプリントしているので、プリント方法も特殊。デザイナーは、「ベロア素材はテカリがあってゴージャスな印象を与えてしまうため、いかにこのゴージャスな雰囲気をかき消すかがポイント」と話している。

ヴィンテージのプリント版を復刻&修正して、Varde77のエッセンスを取り入れ、あえて擦れたようなプリントをのせていたり、色の配色にも気を使って、何度も生地サンプルをあげて制作が行われた。こうして制作されたテキスタイルは今回5型の商品に使われている。
