まず改めて、VASCOのブランドコンセプトや由来から紹介。
VASCO（ヴァスコ）とは「旅の道具」というコンセプトの元、バッグ・革小物を創造するブランドです。コンセプトでもある旅の道具には「淘汰されていく中で残り続けるもの」という意味を込め、時を経ても輝きを失わないヘビーデューティーなアイテムを創造しています。
大航海時代、新しい大陸を開拓した、偉大な航海者であり探検家vasco da gama。古の旅人が生涯をかけて挑戦し続けた、飽くなく挑戦精神をモノづくりに反映させたいという想いを込め「VASCO」と命名。
First of all, introduced from VASCO’s brand concept and origin.
VASCO (Vasco) is a brand that creates bags and leather accessories under the concept of “traveling tool”. For the concept of a traveling tool that is also a meaning of “to keep remaining forever”, it creates heavy-duty items that do not lose its shine even after a long time.
During the Great Voyage, a great navigator and explorer, pioneering a new continent, vasco da gama. Named “VASCO” with the thought that the old traveler continued to challenge for a lifetime, wanting to reflect the challenging spirit in manufacturing not to get tired.
VASCOのデザイナーとVarde77のデザイナーは共に20代は古着のバイヤーを行なっており、Varde77のブランド設立前からの友人である。
VASCOはVarde77が不定期にダブルネームを製作する唯一のブランド。
今までは、VASCOのバッグや革小物にVarde77が別注をかけダブルネームで発売することはあった。
しかし、今回はVASCOがVarde77にレザージャケットの制作を依頼。
レザージャケットの別注やダブルネームは今まですべて断っていたVarde77としては新しい試みである。
Both VASCO designers and Varde 77 designers are doing used clothing buyers in their twenties and are friends from before Varde 77 brand establishment.
VASCO is the only brand that Varde 77 occasionally produces double name.
Until now, Varde 77 bought VASCO bags and leather accessories bespoke and sold them in double names.
However, this time VASCO asked Varde 77 to produce a leather jacket.
The bespoke or double name of the leather jacket is a new attempt as Varde 77 which had declined all so far.

デザインは、フランス空軍で製作されていたヴィンテージのフライトジャケットのデザインをモチーフとしている。ヴィンテージのデザインが参考にされているが、シルエットや素材感など現代のデザインにアップデートされてとても美しいデザインに仕上がっている。ポケットに特徴があるデザインである。1点1点手染め（ムラ染め）が施されているので、独自の風合いが魅力。
The design is based on a vintage flight jacket that was made in the French Air Force. Although the design of vintage is referred to, it has been updated to a contemporary design such as silhouette and texture and finished in a very beautiful design. It is a design that features pockets. Hand dyed (uneven dyed) is given one by one, so its unique texture is attractive.
